Ranking and Determining the Indicators of a Resilient Hospital ‎Against Climate Change

Introduction: The rapid pace of climate change and impact on the future of the earth, as well as adverse effects of climate change on the environment, economy, and health caused man focus on necessary attention to climate change. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the burden of disease caused by climate change will increase dramatically. Hospital services will be possible through the adoption of a hospital resuscitation and stabilization strategy in a situation where the effects of climate change are on the rise. The aim of this study was to determine and rank the indicators of a resilient hospital against climate change. Methods: In this research, a library study and review of relevant studies and deep interview method was used. The data is analyzed by the Two-way ANOVA (Friedman's analysis) method using SPSS v.17 software. Results: Finally extracted 21 research and study from valid world citation databases and analyzed carefully. Of 89 indicators 9 domains that reflect the resilience of a hospital to climate change were identified and ranked. Conclusion: The implementation of indicators derived from this study can provide guidelines for the continuity of hospital services in emergencies and the consequences of climate change. Prioritizing these indicators to health managers and policymakers provides them with appropriate allocation of resources and credits for reach hospitals to an acceptable level of resilience against the effects of climate change.
